Nambor – Doigrung Wildlife Sanctuary, spreading in 97.15 sq. kms. in 3 blocks, is located in Golaghat district and is famous for Hot water springs and one can easily sight Gaur and Hoolock Gibbon here.
The forest type is tropical semi-evergreen with pockets of pure evergreen, interspersed with small forest marshes. The area was declared as a Wildlife sanctuary in 2003. The sanctuary along with Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary (6 km2) and Nambor Wildlife Sanctuary (37 km2) are a part of the Kaziranga-Karbi Anglong Elephant Reserve, which was declared on 17 April 2003, with an estimated area of 3,270 km2.
Tiger was sitting on a log, Leopard with a cub sitting on a tree, Elephants, gaur, sambar, malabar giant squirrel. White bellied woodpecker, crested serpent eagle, green imerial pigeons, streak throated woodpecker and crested hawk eagle. Crocodiles and Rattlesnake.

Nambor - Doigrung Wildlife Sanctuary is in Golaghat district of Assam in India. It is located 25 km from Golaghat town and about 318 km from Guwahati LGBI Airport. From the Rowriah (Jorhat) Airport it is 80 kms. away, from Dimapur Airport is 90 kms. and from Kohora (Kaziranga N.P) is 64 kms.
